Halloween

This is Chris and his boss at there Halloween party at work. Chris won a prize for his costume. Gotta love my fat Scottish man.

This is Chris's pumpkin. It's a monster if you can't tell.

This is my pumpkin. I made a pirate ship. Dillon loved helping with the pumpkin carving. We had some friends over and they made a pumpkin that threw up. After that Dillon would always say, :pumpkin go blaaaaa." It was so cute.

This is my little tool man. I made his tool belt and he had all the tools. We took them trunk or treating and he had a blast. He sure loves candy now. "Tick or teat," as Dillon would say.

Our happy little Riley was Tigger. He loved the costume and when we would hold him up he kept bouncing and wouldn't stay still.

11 weeks

This is me at 11 weeks. I'm due on May 4th. Only 29 weeks to go which is forever but it always goes by really fast. I haven't gained any weight yet(so nice). But everything is going really well.

Riley's 1st Birthday

On September 11th, 2009 my little baby, Riley, had his first birthday. This year has flown by so fast. He started out as a little 5 lb 6 oz and 19 inch baby and now he is becoming a big boy. He is about 17 lbs and 30 inches. (We'll find out for sure at his doc appt this week.) He has been such a joy to have in our family and is the happiest little boy in the world. We love you Riley.

Dillon's fish

Our friends gave Dillon two fish and boy does he love them. He always climbs on a chair and says, "Mama I wanna fee da ish." We have had them for two weeks and they are still alive. Which is pretty impressive for a two year old.

Summer Fun

Wow have I been slacking off. Well we have had a busy summer. We have been taking the boys to the spray park, hiking through caves, enjoying fireworks, and going to family reunions. We have just been busy.

Yellowstone with Jake and Heidi

Jake and Heidi came up for a visit last weekend and we all decided to go to Yellowstone. We made sandwiches (with homemade french bread which I never made before this) which we ate by a river. Dillon calls them hiiiieeee and gake. We had a lot of fun hanging out in the car.

We saw Old Faithful, which Heidi had never seen before and we ate Huckleberry Ice cream. It is so good if you have never tried it you should.

Bison, Dillon loves to say this word.

After Yellowstone we went to Jackson Hole and had dinner.

South Dakota

We just went to South Dakota for a family reunion. It was a lot of fun and we miss everyone. Dillon keeps asking for all his cousins and now he'll talk to them on the phone. It's so fun.
While we were there we went to a fish hatchery and all the little kids fed the fish. They had a ton of fun and did not want to leave.

We went to Mount Rushmore. While we were there we saw a mountain goat.

Our Last Couple Weeks

Dillon said the sweetest thing to Riley the other day. He walked right up to him and said, "ove ooo." This morning while Riley was playing on the floor Dillon sat down with him and started hugging him and kissing him. I'm so glad my boys love each other.

This is a couple weeks ago. We climbed to the top of R mountain and then Dillon threw rocks off the top. If you look close at Riley he has a really big smile on his face.

I have been going on walks with some friends since the weather is finally warm. We always take them to the park. Riley loves the swing. Dillon can now go down slides all alone, he is such a big boy now. Whenever we go near the he starts yelling weee weeee because that's what he says when he goes down the slide.

This is Memorial Day. We went to a bbq and the boys had a ton of fun on the swings.

Riley is a really happy baby now and whenever he sees a camera he gives you a great big smile. I love it.

Messy Boys

It is amazing how messy a little baby can get.
I was feeding Riley bananas and he took the spoon to try to feed himself.

Dillon was laughing at Riley so he put some yogurt on his face.
This was a couple weeks ago, it was the first time I ever let
Dillon lick the spoon after making brownies.

Little Boys learning new things

Dillon and Riley have been really silly the past couple of weeks,
they just keep learning something new that amazes us.

Dillon used his potty for the first time. He walked up to me and said, "potty"
and then proceeded to take his pants off. I rushed him to the potty and he used it. We were all really excited. He's not fully potty trained but it's a start. He also can say is
abc's up to L, we're working on the rest.

Silly little Riley finally learned how to sit up. Dillon loves it because now they
sit and play together. He also got his first teeth in on the bottom. It's so nice because
he is in a better mood now.

Dillon's Birthday

Today was Dillon's Birthday. He is a big 2 year old now and from what I understand, "Two-year-olds give the biggest hugs, flash the biggest smiles, and yes, throw the loudest, most spectacular tantrums". This year is gonna be great.

There were so many birds he didn't want me to put him down.

Dillon got a potty and boy was he happy about that. Hopefully he'll start potty training soon.
I can't get him to sit on it without his pants on yet.
